Flo Electric Vehicle Chargers come to Cochrane, Alberta
A recent article by Cochrane Now, states that Flo Electric Vehicle Chargers have been installed in the small town of Cochrane as part of a infrastructure upgrade to the “Innovation/Transit Hub” of downtown cochrane. When complete, this project will:
Provide a key connection between historic downtown and the Quarry.
Allow for the future development of a platform for regional train service.
Provide Town services within the core of our community.
Provide a new plaza and green space.
The town has not committed to any additional EV charging stations. However, the town is working with a provincial organization on a potential grant opportunity that could fund up to 100 per cent of the total project cost for municipalities to install EV charging stations.
Pending 100 per cent project funding and a review of the project, we would be exploring the installation of up to 10 more EV charging stations (level 2).
