Ideal National Championships - Qualifying Rounds!
IDEAL® Electrical announces the eighth season for its popular electrical competition event series, the IDEAL National Championship. This year, under the theme of “Wiring Better Futures,” qualifying for the Finals competition is open to and focused on electrical apprentices in the United States. The Canadian event series, Battle of the Schools, began in late March. Over $25,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to trade schools and apprentices in Canada throughout the Battle of the Schools season. Additional events will be held at trade schools and union halls through October and will be announced on the IDEAL National Championship webpage.

Heat Pumps are rapidly becoming the fastest-growing segment of the home heating market. They’ve also never been more affordable.
Ouellet’s OTP-C series of heat pumps are on the approved product list for the Canada Greener Homes Grants, meaning that homeowners can receive rebates of $2,500 for 2-head systems, or $5,000 for 3+ head systems. Traditionally, the efficiency and flexibility of these systems have been offset by up-front capital costs, so there has never been a better time for homeowners to invest in an upgrade. Especially if they have also improved their insulation and building envelopes. Heat pumps are also especially ideal for new builds in place of a traditional heating/air conditioning combination.
